Taken advantage of? Making a conscious decision to buy a costume that is a purely vanity based item that directly supports ANET, and thus development of Guild Wars: Beyond and Guild Wars 2 is being taken advantage of? Well in that case... I hope to god you don't own any real life vanity items like a hairbrush, fashionable clothing/shoes, a nice car, nice home decor (actually, why decorate it at all? It's not directly useful at all)

Human beings love vanity. It's an impulse to collect and acquire to further ones progress in life. The same applies to the virtual world. ANET isn't taking advantage of anyone, and if you honestly think that... I pity you.

I for one, am in favor of a costume storage. We have a lot of costume stuff from all these years of holidays and the online store (if you bough them that is) A tab for storing costumes would be great.

Imo, give a free costume pane for every storage pane you buy. Maybe then people will buy that shit.

Create a mule or buy another storage pane, problem solved.

I don't feel taken advantage of at all. I know exactly what I am doing. I'm taking my hard earned cash and buying fluff just because I want to

Yes I would love costume storage. I dye mine so no I don't want to make them over either so it would be great. I can put them in my storage but it would be nice to have a pack on me to put them in. Or even a rune to make the bags bigger.

i have yet to see a costume that I liked enough to warrant a purchase. Why not just have a Costume crafter like the Hat maker? That way you don't have to store it at all. You just go get the one you feel like wearing?

There is one, you can also unequip (hide) them so you can show off your "regular" armor. People are now complaining that they have dyed a set & want to wear a different costume & need even more storage space than what anet has already given/made available to us because they cant be bothered to re-dye a costume a 2nd time...

I have all panes. All filled with stuff (Mostly miniatures that I am NOT selling or removing until there's a way to recreate them like hats)
I'm not making mules. Characters are to PLAY with them, not to store stuff, unless they added some king of Xunlai Agent character option that has all their slots working for storage (including those heroes would have for weapons) and you could access those slots from another character.

Otherwise a 'mule' is way too impractical, since it requires you to use other accounts, help from friends or changing characters an empty slots in the storage.

Anyways, more slots to put things is isn't really useful. After all, no matter how many slots they gave us, they'll get filled eventually.

The best way to prevent storage problems is preventing the need to store things.
Traders and the hat maker are examples of that.
Because of that, an unlock pack to have more colors to dye 'free'-created stuff (Like hats in the hat maker, costumes, and PvP items) or a way to dye for free those items(like a version of the dye panel in which you select colors in drop-down combo boxes instead by putting dyes) and all hats added to that item creation panel, and that item creation panel gave to PvE characters with only the hat and costume panels available.
They could also add the /bonus items there, and that would also solve the troubles with the /bonusitems comand.

I definitely agree that a wardrobe of some sort to store costumes would be nice. Like everyone said, sometimes we dye them and don't want to destroy them.

Someone previously said something like "20k isn't hard to make". Err, maybe to you? A lot of other players (including myself) don't really enjoy farming/power trading and when you're not actively attempting to make money (through anything else than actually playing the game)...throwing away 20k on a whim is a lot.

At least giving us another storage pane or even an additional bag slot that we wouldn't be able to upgrade/store anything in other than costumes would be nice.

Not really sure that giving us free dye would be a good idea. Some people like their black dye/white dye/whatever because it's just another way to show "bling". And since that's all we really have to strive for in this game as far as PvE goes, it'd be kinda cruddy to take it away from players, even if it is one of the lower forms.

I would support it as a (small) cash shop item if a new Xunlai panel could just hold costumes.

Remember that the cost for a costume is supporting Anet, it's a small price to pay for a game that doesn't ask for much. Something like a special $3.99 (USD) panel seems reasonable to me. You could hold one of every costume available at this point with room for some in the future, and your helping the company out.

I have purchased all the costumes for my main guild wars account, and have dyed the outfits to match my characters color themes. So, yes, I would welcome some extra storage for these outfits or at least a ways to retrieve the dyed ones when I wanted to wear them again.
All of my chars have heavy equipment packs and I still struggle to find enough room to hold all their pve/pvp armors, weapons, etc, let alone find room for cute costumes.

I will admit, I have a problem with collecting items, but have also transfered many items to other accounts (I have five) just to make room.

Yes, extra storage would be nice. I've also fantasized about a pull out drawer for mini pets in the Hall of Monuments...but I just don't see it happening

I also think this is a great idea, but according to a few of the LEET PROS on this this thread, I'm a total waste of life for having that opinion, and I should just quit GW now because I don't see things EXACTLY the way they do.

I really love this game, but I wish some of you bitchier vets would just STFU about how ruined the game has become, and leave it to those of us who still enjoy it.

It adds up faster than most armor pieces. Probably won't happen but definitely a good idea none the less. But yeah, don't like having to delete costume pieces for various other things other than cosmetic appearances, and helping provide some funds for the best ftp game. Maybe not even costumes, what if it were something like being able to wear a bigger or dual equipment packs? That would make everyone over all happy...
While I don't use cosmetic microtransaction myself, I do agree that they should implement this feature. After all you are playing quite a bit of money for nothing but a costume, you should at least be able to store it ingame for free. Especially because if you buy multiple costumes you will either have to dye them many times over or keep them in your inventory / existing xunlai panes.

And for all this economy rubble. This is just supply and demand, and creating unnecessary demand makes no sense. Also note that a good economy doesn't necessary have very expensive items, or none at all...
In my opinion the only thing that is wrong with economy is that some less popular items are worth jack shit (such as purple dyes or shitty runes), but that is to be expected. Especially because this game is not (actively) played by that many people anymore.

If all we're worryed about is the dyes used on a costume, then why not just make the dyes salvageable (only on costumes)? Then you can dye that hot new look black and sport it until the next new look comes out.

That would actually be hard to progam and completely random. Making extra storage panes is easier and more sensible. Logic demands it.
